The hall is once again used for functions and meetings, concerts etc, and the Guides and Brownies are using the new facilities. The hall is referred to as Gilead Village Hall, as the intention is to continue to encourage the village and local community to use its renewed facilities for parties / quiz nights / discos meetings etc, being the only hall offering the said facilities to the community at large in the area. With the construction of the ramp and disabled toilet in the hall we are now fully compliant with the "Disabled Peoples Act" and have further improved our facilities for the whole community. |
 |
The hall is also used as a Polling Station, for European, County Borough & Community Elections.
The Coity Village Association: are actively involved in projects within the Chapel and hall and use the hall for their meetings and functions.
Coity Primary School: use the Chapel for their Monthly assembly.
Numerous Birthday, Wedding and Anniversary Parties are also held in the hall.
The Bridgend County Borough Council use the hall for local meetings and our local councillor and AMP Mr. Carwyn Jones regularly use the hall for his surgeries and community meetings.
